If you've had a look at my user page and you feel like you want to friend me I would really appreciate if you could comment on the public 'Friends Only' post in my journal (HERE) and let me know why you friended me ‘cause otherwise I'm gonna be all confused and go all 'huh' and, 'why me'?! If you don't leave a comment on my 'Friends Only' post I probably won’t friend you back, you know, unless we know each other from joint squee and drool appreciation for David Tennant, Christian Kane or "God, help me" GERARD BUTLER. O_O *snort* :)

If I have friended you it is probably because I thought something you wrote was delicious or I like a pretty picture you made or I was simply skulking around and found your LJ appealing because of your wit and words. Also, if I have friended you, I would have left a comment on one of the entries on your journal to let you know why.

I absolutely love writing, writing, oh, and writing! It is my passion and I guess it is something that I hope will one day lead to published works but for now this is me and my rather sporadic ramblings. I will one day, perhaps, share some of my poems and other writings but I'm not quite ready yet. ::is a wimp:: I am constantly on a hunt for my muse 'cause he's a slippery and unpredictable little bugger and he likes to torture me! Heh!

My 'little' obsession with all things Whedonesque (Joss is God) has at this point grown to humungous proportions and I make no excuses for it. Joss is my drug of choice! If it seems like I'm obsessing over his works, it is because I am. :P I also have a fierce love of Doctor Who, especially in his tenth incarnation. ::licks David Tennant::

I also love art and music and theatre, anything that stretches the creative muscles and gets you thinking. Spending time with friends and a good bottle of red wine (or a couple of bottles) rates high on my list of things to do on a Friday Night. I love a good argument but my buttons are often excessively pushed by narrow minded, racist or bigoted comments or individuals. My suggestion if you are such an individual? Go Away!

I am a student of Buddhism and as such am a very compassionate being. In my journal everyone is treated with respect and love. Varied opinions are welcome and encouraged but they need to be backed up by an open mind willing to accept other people's differences.
